Samurai itself is just fine as a whole; it's Y/G/K that are ridiculously over powered and perform far better than they should. But nerfing them would akin to nerfing utsusemi at this point; mass exodus.


Seriously, leave SAM the fuck alone. No one wanted it before, then the 2 handed update broke it (good lord did it ever break SAM ^^ I miss my 1k+ WS with Soborro) and now it's nicely settled in the borderline with WAR and MNK.

Wait, wut? Sam has better offense and better defense then both jobs, and can put out higher numbers with crappier gear in less amount of time.

At least a fair number of jobs can solo dolls safely. They can often kill themselves, to boot. Only mages can kill elementals.

Of course, it was uncapped, and the number of merits the DRG in question had was brought in to question, but still.

People said there would be a mass exodus if they nerfed RNG.

They defected to BLM at the time, later other melees. True RNGs stayed with the job, trendy RNGs left it.
