I honestly don't think they know that it was logged. SE is notorious for being really really dumb about what their players are doing. They just patched 1F frog in Zhayolm Remnants so that you can no longer have everyone (but one person) log off to pop her, so I'm beginning to think that logging out tricks are going to be dealt with. How would one be okay but not the other?

Yeah, a win is a win and they're basically putting this on their main site because of all the media attention it got a few months ago, but seriously it would not shock me in the slightest if SE didn't even know how their players play the game.

They probably DO know about it, but honestly, after all the media backlash they got for the first PW fight, imagine the shitstorm if they changed it so you couldn't log out. While I'm not saying that logging out is or is not a correct fighting method(dont want to move that debate here), all it'd take is 1 article to spin it the wrong way to make it look like SE is the bad guy for more bad publicity.

It's easier to just let it go for awhile probably and wait for a few more kills till they can safely change it and claim it was unintended.

CN: Not really an issue. They just make it possible to log in and out freely, and add combat penalties; like weakness or something.

I'm sure the "backlash" will be similar to what happened when SE made AV unbeatable once again after having made it killable for about a period of two weeks.

Players will complain (which they always do, just about different stuff). And then the players will go back to life as usual (i.e. complaining about other stuff).
