It's the perfect time of year for incurably shy guys and gals just like you. Consider it a much-needed friendly shove in the back towards realizing a rosy future with the person of your dreams.

Now, now, Master, no need to get jittery, for your target is but one—favorable odds compared to the hordes of fell beasts you've had to contend with in the past. Whenever I look back, it seems D. was always at my side...

And we squandered it all, went our separate ways over a childish rrrivalry.
But it's okay, because Valentione's Day is just around the corner.

At least SE kept it in the game. I always did want to get married in XI for shits and giggles to my rl guy, but we never got around to it before he quit. He even asked me to, in a cutesy pseudo-rp way.

The baww was too much for Turbine, though, who had intended to give us marriage in LotRO, but were afraid of the whining, apparently. Maybe hurt sales? Cause drama? You don't see anyone sueing SE, so I don't know why Turbine gave in. It doesn't fit the motherfucking Lore, that's all they have to say. Any other MMO, I'd be fine with it. Tolkien's world? Lolno.

I guess we could always do a player-run thing, but that's not half so neat as wedding dresses and the like. There's nothing quite as pretty as the Opaline stuff in LotRO, save maybe an Elven Dress dyed white. So, with SWG going belly up with the NGE, Matt quitting XI, and Turbine being pansy, I haven't had an 'official' wedding in an MMO yet, and I'd like to, at least once. One that actually shows up on the bio sheet, or in some piece of jewelry.
