You missed that part but I was talking in circles again. I got about 15k worth of allied notes that are unused because the areas that I Campaign in are not owned by the Beastmen . It'd be great if I could spend those on band renewals. It wouldn't surprise me if a few updates from now they added a Point Converter to convert points between areas, but the rate would probably depend on a bunch of random stuff. Since IMO Allied Notes are easiest and fastest to get, they would have like a 1/4 convert ratio to Conquest Points and 1/2 to Imperial Standing.

...when there was no tax Jeuno was loaded with bazaars and lagalicious. You know that fountain in Lower Jeuno? Watch that because that is going to be a hot spot soon. LOL Was this necessary? Are we so lazy we can't take a few steps outside of the city to look at bazaars? Oh god I hope this doesn't encourage casinos again.....I just thought of that....oh f**k me.....

....when you were a drk trying to get af in Oztroja...ya good luck with that! But now...seriously? Oh wait, someone might have to wait a couple hours to get their af, then get in a snit, whine on a forum about how the game sucks, and then quit. BOO FRICKIN HOO! Hell it took me WEEKS to get my god damn af pieces in some places but I stuck with it and it was an accomplishment........oh ya thats right some people like everything handed to them on a silver platter.

I don't think Jeuno will really pick up that much, because even if you can bazaar there without tax, that doesn't change the fact that most buyers will be in Whitegate/starter cities most of the time. Aside from that, I think the Batallia/Rolan/Sauro(for weirdo servers) swap meets will remain more or less the same, since everyone on each server already knows that's where you go to find your high-end bazaar-able stuff.

Not being able to get from Jeuno to Whitegate quickly has been a huge issue for me on my RNG mule though, since I'm sitting at 42 THF I keep HP'd in Jeuno for the time being, and it's kind of a pain to make it back to AU zones somewhat quickly.

Somebody was trying to do a Casino in whitegate yesterday O_o. I don't think I have seen one done that way but I was probably mistaken, but he was calling it Black Jack and the total amount of your /random had to be 21 or less than what he rolled, otherwise you bust. He used the example /random 669 = 6+6+9 = 21. All the other casinos I had seen had certain number roll and if it was that or above you won, otherwise you lost.

What's funny is, this might take a little stress off of Whitegate since you'll be able to hop a warp from Jeuno, but now Jeuno will probably be laggy as hell.

Yeah, kinda like the month after I got the items for Limit Break/Genkai (Don't ask which one, I don't remember.) They made a update to make those items drop more often. It took 2 hours to get the thing that the bomb drops and just about as long for the Eldieme Drop.

Way back when fighting for coffers against THFs farming Astral Rings to get RDM body did in fact suck ass, I got lucky and had one spawn right on top of me after like 2 days of fighting for them.

2 days.........lucky ass.....it took me WEEKS. Want to know how I finally got it? I was SO frustrated that I couldn't get this piece and my son said "Pfft I don't know why you don't use your "mom tactics" like you do to guilt me into doing stuff for you." So I did! LOL I got in game and did shouts. I had my key and I started shouting stuff like "OK I'm a drk and I need ONE COFFER for my af. I'm a mother and I don't have all the time in the world to be doing this shit either. I have kids to look after, a husband to feed, and a house to take care of. I really just need ONE COFFER to get this done and I'll be out of your way and the rest are all yours. So PLEASE give me a chance here and let me get this af done. I've been at it for WEEKS and I don't know what else to do except ask for your kindness in letting me have ONE COFFER." One person shouted something sassy but stopped with a couple other people stood up for me. I soon got a /t from a thf and he came to me and took me from spot to spot and found me a coffer. He even guilted another thf into not popping it so I could FINALLY get my af. LOL

Then a while later I did the same thing again for a drk friend of mine that couldn't get the coffer to save his soul. Ah.....the old days....

No I don't think it will either as far as volume but all the traffic will be inside milling about now, probably in Lower Jeuno. This conjestion will be just like the old days and lagalicious for the area and with people milling about checking bazaars you never know what else might pop up. I just deleted all the casinos out of my blist about a month ago too.

I always wondered why they put a "Lure of the Wildcat" quest in Jeuno but didn't make the NPC there warp you.

And FUCK YEAH for the Chests/Coffers fix. Now if they'd just lower the respawn for the ??? for the Aroma NM's that would complete it. I love all these little fixes ^. ^


Actually, they could adjust the drop rates on coffer keys too my god. It took me some 3-4 hours with TH4 to get my key for BLM in Davoi... Kuftal and Boyahda aren't so bad, but all the beastmen zones are the worst. Don't even get me started on Temple Uggly....

Keys have always been pretty random. Castle O has always given me huge trouble, usually a minimum 3 hours for that to drop, though the last time I did a round of Eldieme/Citadel I think I got both keys within a total of 4 kills as RDM/THF.

It once took me 6 hours to get a MNK friend a Beadeaux coffer. Boyahda/Kuftal I can get in 30-60 minutes for sure. So yeah, I'd say it varies from place to place >_>

The last time I was in Beadeux farming keys...like last week, it took exactly 4 kills. Of course three of those were a simultanious link...but the 4th kill dropped the key. And to top it off, the Coffer was *right* down the hall.

Now Eldieme on the other hand, I can't ever think of a time when it was easy to get the key.

I just hope they don't nerf the gil rewards from coffers now

Speaking of key droprates, what about the Kazham keys!

On a sidenote, I took a LS friend of mine to hunt Kazzy keys this weekend, and 2 of them dropped within 5 mins of finding the mobs that dropped them. Palborough mines dropped on the first mob, and Giddeus dropped on about mob number 8 which was pretty awesome, I was prepared to be out there for about 2 hours lol. We didn't get Ghelsba key because he ended up logging off.
