I wish they could make garrisons appealing again. Maybe add some low level gear that can only be obtained from them. Everytime I mention garrison to people they reply with "lol", "/phail", etc. The ironic thing is most of those people have never even done it before.

There's only 3 things I want;

More job updates, More WotG Mission content (not the quests for each city) and for the love of fuck the Medals rank for Campaign. I'm tired of being capped @90/Minute for the last 6-8 months.

Shame of it being that Garrison is really kind of a prototype for Besieged and Campaign Battle(maybe with a Dynamis/Einherjar twist), it'd be nice if they went back and applied to the former what they learned from the latter.

I've only done the lowbie garrisons and they're great content for new players. Because, as BP points out, they're pretty much the prototype for many Endgame events. If you want to entice people into doing them, just let them know how much some items go for. For hardcore endgamers they'll scoff and ignore it, but for mid tier players, it might be worth the time spent. Just make sure you win otherwise no one will want to do it again.

WotG's mission chain is unlike any expansions before it. Unlike RotZ, CoP and ToaU, the WotG one isn't linear. Those "Quests" are part of the missions, and you even need to get to a certain point in them to continue the actual missions. Currently, when the missions/city quests are combined, WotG has just as many battles and CS as RoZ and ToAU. But the staggering and optionality of them makes it seem like the expansion is lacking a storyline.

I'm gonna laugh when the big reward from WotG's missions requires you to go through all of the city quests as well as the mission storyline.

I hope it's a good reward for finishing WoTG, I was disappointed in the Glory Crown. :/ Maybe someday they'll add a quest for us to "enchant" it, and you can choose from 3 or 4 sets of stats for it.

The rings from ToAU were okay as well, but not superb like the CoP ones were. But at this point, almost everything can be replaced by something similar.

The Glory Crown was just a show piece and nothing more. I actually chucked mine after getting it because I think it's a fugly PoS and I would have no reason to keep it >_>

I think it may be a Japanese thing TGM - Even the semi-weekly release notes will be horribly vague and unhelpful until the actual update comes out, and even THEN they will not contain the amount of detail most people need or want.

Maybe it IS a Japanese thing, but SE gives every appearance of never wanting to write documentation, so they mostly don't.

I hope they program (write code) better than that.
