I can't imagine how pissed a group would be if they wiped a couple times and got PW down to 5% only to lose him to a depop. It takes a ton of work to get a pop set together only to lose all your work to a timer imposed by SE. I honestly just think this was a reactionary measure to show the press (that stopped caring 2 weeks ago) that they did something to 'fix' the issue. Thus... /facepalmed.

I'm not saying that I don't like the Level Sync system. I'm going to be using it constantly. It just would've been nice to get the benefit of skill ups also.

Also, say your Sword is 115, you level down to 10, so your weapon cap would be... say.... 35 (for arguement sake, I'm not going to figure out a real figure). If you were your normal level, you wouldn't skill up off those mobs if you were uncapped, and since you already have those skill levels, you shouldn't regain them. (Make sense??? It does to me.) I could just see RMTs having a ball doing Dunes parties (or whatever) so that they can have cheap gear and get away with it. We all know they would do something that stupid. | |

But you *will* get skill-ups. See skill-ups are level dependant from your level, max level of the weapon, AND of the mob. You cannot get a weapon from 1 to 200 on the same monster as it will start ok and then be too low. So if you're like me and will test this as PLD 51 on mobs in Altepa (30-34) you cannot get skill-up anyway as my sword skill is already passed those mobs and they cannot give me more skill-up ![]() PS: damn, endymionls beat me to it

See, these are the practical solutions I didn't consider. I'd much rather hear that than Armando's JUST DONT SYNC WITH LV10 PEOPLE DURDURDUR response.

If you were lvl 50 with capped skills, you still wouldn't get crap from those lvl 35 mobs skill wise, synch or no synch. If you mean to be lvl 30 with capped skill, fighting a lvl 35 mob...and somehow skill up? That's just dumb.
