Then you would want to join a normal party or make a skillup, much as you would if you had been leveling in campaign.

Level sync was supposed to "change the way you party" forever. Having to constantly make skill up pts in order to offset leveling with your friends would be a complete pain in the ass. Do they really want to change the way we level or introduce a new novelty?

That.

Or hey, here's a thought: make your own party that syncs down to your level(!!) Gee, who could've thought that you could use Level Sync in your favor?

Fine, then if you're level 40 but your skills are at the level of a level 30 character, join a level ~32 level sync party and your skills will progress normally.

Yeah, I really wanna know why they aren't fixing the singing thing too. That is really annoying to watch people sing over and over, and mpking them hardly ever worked too.

That's still extra work that would be unnecessary if they would allow you to skill up with level sync. Your skills could still be capped for that level, but why can't you get skill ups for you higher level? I want to use this feature to party with my friends who just started out. I don't want to have to bother constantly bother joining other pts just to offset what I end up missing.

I'm glad that PW and AV will most likely be beatable. It just annoys me that they couldn't just come out and say what was wrong with how we were doing it before. The dev team has bragged about all the secrets in the game that are undiscovered. What good is a system like that if you don't give the player base any clues how to look for any of it?

You present a problem that doesn't exist because nobody forces you to 1) accept invites from lower level characters, and 2) never attempt to make your own parties.

Level Sync did not take away any options from you. It merely adds them. You speak as if you would rather not have Level Sync at all. Turn down lower level party invites, and it really is as if you didn't have it!

Well, that's a fine opinion. I agree with you. But when you quote the text regarding the 2 hour depop and post nothing but a facepalm, I can only assume you're upset that it can depop now.

Do you even READ what I post? I AM going to party with low level people because they are my FRIENDS who JUST STARTED PLAYING. This was the WHOLE POINT of the level sync system.

Reading comprehension. Get it, please.

Inviting a level 32 guy is extra work? Look, even if you take your level 40 character and level sync it with your level 10 friends for the rest of its existence, your level 10 friends will gain levels faster than you due to needing less experience to level, so eventually they will catch up with you in level and the skills will even out. The only reason you'd need skills to cap at your non-sync level is if you were using the character in non-capped parties which apparently you don't want to do the "extra work" to do.
