I got just what I anticipted: 10 xp scrolls and a Behemoth Hide. I'll have a friend make me some dusk gloves.

I'm disappointed, though, it was probably the people who are already too rich in this game that won, not the poor people. I would have used it wisely. 100m would go quite a way to leveling myself in crafting and maybe a mule as well.

Most likely because SE wanted their subscription fee from those who made characters just for this.

I'm not even bothering to check my numbers until I can claim my prizes. I thought it was ridiculous to release the numbers before prize availability.

Well, you can throw away your losing marbles immediately and free up storage space. (Although that only matters if you were planning on playing that character sometime in that time interval anyway.)

I wonder if when the prize redemption period opens we'll suddenly discover there was a consolation prize for non-winning marbles? (Though with Miratete's Memoirs as the sole rank 5 offering, a consolation prize would have to be really worthless :p )

I'm planning on trading each of my 10 marbles to the moogle when I can -- kind of like the chocobo races, I'd still turn in my ticket, and the person would just say it wasn't a winner. That's mostly what I'm expecting with the marbles, and if more of my marbles are winners, well... awesome.

Grats. Picked myself up a hairpin, since I am too lazy to camp VE. Plus with 20 hides and 57 D Ingots on the AH, seemed like the more practical choice.
