Well, we really have yet to see what the gun really does, if it follows the pattern of Relic Gun and Bow, then it might have a similar damage mulitiplier and could even extend to Quick Draws. As it stands, it puts the gun at a Hexagun delay with a comprable damage rating to Coffinmaker, that's really all we know.

True. The argument was about whether or not it would be a cannon though, and if it was a cannon then it's usefulness would be more limited. There actually was a lot of evidence to support that the gun would have been a cannon, but the stats say otherwise. I honestly am surprised, but as long as the weapon is good, I won't complain.
