Note that if you win a Rank 4 prize, if you choose Damascene Cloth it sells on nearly all servers for at least 650,000 gil, meaning it's worth more than the 100,000.

Damascus Ingot = 350,000
Khroma Ore = 240,000
Damascene Cloth = 200,000

The best Rank 4 price is therefor Behemoth Hide.
The best Rank 3 price is obviously the 1,000,000 gil, however some (the more veteranized) players might find the Assassin's Armlets or Hauteclaire much more useful.

A thought just occured to me, seems very likely that PlayOnline is hoping for those silly people that buy extra Content IDis or even re-active their old friends's characters for this!

It would really suck for a level 5 mule to win something that is only equip able and exclusive/rare i.e. Bounding Boots. (yes I know I can choose gil for that) but this may be the only chance I get for those boots XD, I've been camping Leaping Lizzy for the past 2 weeks. SE for the love of anything, just make these non-sell able items 100% drop... I'm really tired of standing on that rock and checking every 5 minutes for Lizzy...

On a side note, I'm looking forward to a Kraken club, but I mean 100 million... do I even need that much? Sure I could deck out every job I ever want to level, but man that's very abusive...

Just take the Behemoth Hide and sell it, then buy Leaping Boots. You will have about 350k leftover, more or less depending on your server. Edit: Looked up the prices on your server and it looks like you would have 550k leftover. Lucky bastard. >_>

To be honest, no not really. Behemoth Hide sells fast and 50-200 hides are not going to pop up on the AH all at once. People from around the world are going to win and they are not all going to recieve their reward at the same time. Even with those that do, not all are going to rush to the AH and try to sell theirs as fast as possible. A small decline in value can be predictable but nothing drastic.
