As long as each of your 10 marbles has a different digit for the last number, you will get a Miratete's Memoirs. As long as they have different digits for the last two numbers, you have a 10/100 (1/10) chance of winning something in rank 4. If they all have different digits for the last three numbers, you have a 10/1000 (1/100) chance at something from rank 3, and so on.

So umm.. if I use 50 characters, 500 marbles, how much chance would that be for each rank?

I can actually calculate this but I'm not really that good with Math, it'd take me very long. x.x

I don't really think RMT is going to be all over this.

As Feba said - 1.7 million characters, 10 marbles each - 17 million marbles costing 17 BILLION gil so hey, they are actually reducing gil out of the economy. Even if each server pays out an average of 500 Million, thats still reducing gil out of the economy

This is an RMT's nightmare actually, I think.

As long as you get a unique number for each marble, you just plug the number of marbles into the left side of the chances:

500/10 for group 5
500/100 for group 4
500/1000 for group 3
500/10000 for group 2
500/100000 for group 1

This means you're guaranteed 5 group 4 items and 45 Miratete's Memoirs (it would be 50, but 5 of them are going to be group 4 instead). You'd have a 50% chance at group 3, a 5% chance at group 2, and a 0.5% chance at group 1 (and each of any of those you win, obviously, means you don't win something lesser).
