Like you can only win what you can equip...that would suck

It will be like an annual Thief's Knife. May as well push to BC for it now while it still has value, I have a feeling the mule market for it is going to deflate rapidly this summer.
Though, really, if I had a rank 1 ticket, I'd go for Skadi's or the Ridill instead. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-30-2008, 07:23 AM | #20 (permalink) | | Loaded With Sodium Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 7,964 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 448 Thanked 1,591x in 1,001 Posts Gil: 3,577 Bank: 33,189 Total Gil: 36,766 Donate | Re: Mog Bonanza If I won a Rank 1 ticket, I'd definitely go for something I could use, but will likely never obtain through regular events, over something I could sell. Kraken only goes for about 40-60 mil on Pandy. I say only because you would still make more on the 100 mil.
Myself, I agree with Murphie in that I would rather grab a Black Belt than anything. Though with 100 mil, I could buy the items off an HNM LS. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-30-2008, 07:32 AM | #22 (permalink) | | Loaded With Sodium Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 7,964 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 448 Thanked 1,591x in 1,001 Posts Gil: 3,577 Bank: 33,189 Total Gil: 36,766 Donate | Re: Mog Bonanza Knowing my luck, I will probably get the 1k gil, if anything. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-30-2008, 07:38 AM | #23 (permalink) | | Pointy Stick Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Portland, OR Posts: 2,004 Style: Dark - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 450 Thanked 359x in 221 Posts Gil: 15,948 Bank: 57,749 Total Gil: 73,697 Donate | Re: Mog Bonanza Originally Posted by Jonastb | | I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of low level people for the next couple of weeks. | This will probably pull in a lot of players that quit as well. Yes, that is a good thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if one of the high end prizes went to a returning player who ends up quitting again a month later.
The question isn't what you'd do with 1 Rank 1 winning ball. The question is what would you do with 10 of them?

if I did get 100 million I'd probabaly trick out my main jobs: THF and Summoner and then worry about other stuff like going from 0-100 in a craft XD
I'm currently farming and saving gill for some of the equips for those jobs and I'd rather get back to running missions and leveling/meriting.... | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-30-2008, 07:57 AM | #25 (permalink) | | Fan of Murphie Brain of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: Largo, FL Posts: 1,590 Style: Light - Version 5 Thanks: 101 Thanked 287x in 170 Posts Gil: 10,231 Bank: 55,801 Total Gil: 66,032 Donate | Re: Mog Bonanza And now, the cloud attached to the silver lining...
I'm guessing that the 5 digit number is inscribed on the marble the way signature is attached to a crafted item. Which means... the marbles don't stack.
So if you want to buy 10 marbles, keep in mind that you're probably going to have to deal with 10 less spaces in your mog safe/mog locker for a month and a half. Lyonheart
