You're not paying any more to play this game then anyone else. From my understanding POL works with Silver and you don't have pay for either.

You DO pay for the Content IDs to play this game though.

Regardless of that, you want a faster dl then all you have to do is wait until everyone else is done. The only reason it takes so long is because 500k+ people are downloading the same exact thing as you at the same exact moment.

Sorry to break it to you Ziero. but I pay a monthly subscription to XBL. If I wanted to play in a gaming society with viruses and freelance 3rd party software running screwing up my online experence, then I would join the PC world. But I dont thanks for the insite though.

You're electing to pay more, but that doesn't mean that you're entitled to more in terms of FFXI.

Yup, you only need Silver to play FFXI on the 360, so basicly your not paying Microsoft to play FFXI...just the other online games if you so choose to play them.

I pay a monthly payment to VW, they should provide me with a faster server to download FFXI updates. A lot faster then yours since I guarantee I pay more to VW then you do to MS.

VW has as much to do with FFXI as XBox Live Gold does, that being nothing. SE doesn't care that you give money to MS any more then they care about my car payment. MS has nothing to do with the distribution of FFXI, SE has nothing to do with the management of Live.

Sorry to break it to you, but as said by many other people, your XBL gold membership has *nothing to do with FFXI*. That's just for XBL things. PoL runs and operates freely on the Silver package which means all YOU are paying for in terms of FFXI is the same thing everyone else, whether they be in the 'pc world' or the 'ps2 world', pays for. And btw, that thing you're paying for is NOT PlayOnline.

So before you go complaining that you should get more because you pay more, you should at least try to understand what you're actually paying for in the first place.

I heard there was a Raptor in Sauro or Meri that dropped the Saurian Helm, but that's about all I know of so far.

I'm more interested in that Acc+/Store TP/Cure Amnesia ring myself. I hope it's quested.

Did you read what I said though?

Just put them in the old Beastmen strongholds.

Just like the other AF coffers.

Three AFs, three strongholds.

Af is just old dusty stuff you find left over from the Crystal War anyway, why does WotG AF have to be different? "Just because" doesn't really cut it for me.

Not only that, all three ToA craftable AFs made you go to the mainlands (or at least COR's did). Making us go to the mainlands is a fair excuse to make use of coffers again.

But no, let's just dick over the players who have anxiously waited for AF and make them pay out the nose to get the AF when they need it or force them to wait months when its affordable, thereby forcing them to put the job on hold

This is poor design for obtaining situational gears. Really, really poor design.

First: no, you don't have to do that at all. If they'd rather have sublimation than refresh, let them. It gives them a little less mp but also saves 40 mp for you, so it may be more or less a wash. There's still pld, drk, blu and others who won't be subbing sch all the time, even after 70, and refresh was never RDM's only contribution to a party.

Second: if their JA *is* counterproductive to the party, how is it any different than telling a rng/war not to provoke? Does that make you uncomfortable or feel like a "bad guy"?

I'm sure SE gave a lot of thought to every aspect of Sublimation before introducing it at a subbable level (and apparently un-nerfed by subbing). Its interaction with Refresh is not an accident.
