Why not just give player BLMs powers to warp anywhere on the planet like warp tarus (in theory and story, but not in business) can? Or warp to cities like we KNOW they can?
Kuro, that's pretty much exactly what warpga would be for. Although it would sorta undermine Escape. | Originally Posted by someone who just spent ten minutes with feba | | wtf? I wonder what other things will get updated, since they only gave "examples"? Though now I have a serious problem for my SMN macros. I have all 10 sets used up in my SMN book, 1 set for summoning an avartar/resting/stoneskin/normal gear and then one set for each of the 9 avatars. Where am I gonna find room for a new ability XD.
Also the cure lock semi-fix is very nice news as well. I had a signature, but I got lazy and stopped caring. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 03-06-2008, 05:30 AM | #21 (permalink) | | Heir to Odin Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: None of your damn business Posts: 3,269 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 646 Thanked 295x in 200 Posts Gil: 69,549 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 69,549 Donate | Re: New Battle Adjustments (6 March 2008) Originally Posted by IfritnoItazura | | Perhaps if a Regal Cat decides that hishelper needs some help to get to the right location in time | Fixed. Also, yay SMN gets something, even if it's another lame bandaid fix. >< when I saw BLM on the front page I was also sure they'd finally mention the skillchain fix, but as we all know this is just a snippet and not the full details. Notice how they didn't even mention the new corsair rolls or blue magic for instance which we know are coming.
And thank freaking god it's about time they addressed that cure fix. Now, when they talk about icons, I'm sure they're referring to light/dark arts and a few other buffs. Here's hoping they finally give Enfeebling Ninjutsu it's own icons thus making it stackable with magic! (That'd be incredibly broken and thus highly unlikely but you never know with SE) | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 03-06-2008, 05:33 AM | #22 (permalink) | | K Seal Bandit! Im not saying in the past, but to your normal, everyday HN. Most people have there HP in WG and have to tele and chocobo it or just use the pay taru. This would save a little time and money as well. The other option I was looking into is warping to the closest OP. I know you can already do this with a OP ring but this could be nice to have....right? <Throne Room> and <Malboro> <Break>

Too true. But if they did, I'm sure they would have restrictions. But something more likely would be like others have said either an -aga or just a plain ol' warp you to your Country's OP guy.
Heck if they did it like I suggested the 1st time; it might be the only way SE could figure out a way to get parties to inivte a BLM to join them. Then again they'd probley just kick them after they get all the dds to camp...meh... I give up. It'd be great to have the rest now but I'd be surprised if they snuck it all in.
I'm iffy on the new WS for autos. While more versatility is good but it can already be a somewhat difficult juggle to keep up the maneuvers you need and still force the specific skills you want. Also, if the new WS aren't focused on straight damage (ex: shoulder tackle) the efficacy of the already suspect Inhibitor would spiral down the toilet. I'm going in hopeful but reserving my right to be excited until there's more details. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -8.
