It means they've been replaced by fifteen new Tarus, and will be again, and again, and again. When you see them, report them (bottom of the page). Until they get their "systematic countermeasures" in place and ironed out, that's the only way this gets dealt with.

Well, if banned frequently enough, it'll reach the point where RMT couldn't make enough gil/RL money on an account on average prior to termination to justify getting the account in the first place--assuming they are not using stolen credit card info to open the accounts in the first place.

In any case, S-E/STF seemed to have managed to drive away most of RMT from NM camping, so there's good reason to be optimistic about their plans for "systematic countermeasures".

Heck, I'm even holding out hopes for "systematically" catching botters on land HNMs. (If done, would be quite funny, at least for Ifrit dwellers.)

Oh, I'm optimistic they'll come up with something, too. It's just not clear when or what it will be, so this announcement shouldn't be taken as a signal that people can stop worrying about reporting fishbots to the STF. Until something is in place, we need to keep reporting.

I'm always happy to see the bans for fish bots. But, I'm hoping these countermeasures won't screw me over like the other ones they put in place. Also, wouldn't it be nice to lift the other nerfs like fatigue or soft fatigue cap (don't know if this one is still in effect) ? It doesn't work for RMT. Fishing is the only craft that has been nerfed because of RMT as far as I know.
