There was seriously a new thread started about the topic you're talking about so as not to derail this one.

There are plenty of reasons to hate Feba, but this isn't one of them.

My neighbor let me borrow FF1 when it first came out, and I bought my own copy shortly thereafter. Loved IV and VI, but definitely IV most. Skipped PS1 and PS2, bought PS3 a few months back. Since have finished FF8, half way through 9, played 11 on the PC for a year or so... Not sure if I'll ever get through 7, will definitely finish 10 and 12 once I'm through 9. Happy Birthday, FF, one of the few things that could draw me away from David Eddings, Terry Brooks, Robert Jordan, et al.

Well that is quite a compliment Bricklayer! Those are some outstanding fantasy authors. Unfortunately we lost Mr. Jordan in Aug or Sept of this year. Now did playing fantasy games like FF spur you to read books from authors such as these or was it the other way around? ^^

Edit: Oh I just had to add that I was a HUGE John Norman fan and the Gor series. At the time the books were released they were considered a bit "racy" though! I had to get my older sister to buy them and sneak them in the house! LOL

o. O off topic but I had to mention this SOMEWHERE...

In the Fan Fest Wrap Up posted today (and I don't recall this being said before on here) they said that the new Perdu weapons would be ingredients in the new relic weapons with new WS!!!!

Actually I agree with Feba, my mom just didn't (still doesn't) understand video games. They weren't even violent; what is the worst scene in ffviii? Like the beginning where Squall's face is cut and you see blood? Or maybe the icicle thing? I think they really had the rating only from things like that and saying things like "damn" or "crap" It wasn't a big deal, she just wouldn't even read the back of the box (where it would say T for Mild language or w/e the offense is) She just saw T and was like "omgzobvur2young2play"

I'm filled with much antipication of Red Mages' new rosey Weapon Skill.

But, wait, Red Mages can't even use the Perdu Hanger (Sword), or any Perdu weapon other than the Perdu Wand.

Well, there's this ol' thing that just so happens to be Red Mage exclusive. Pretty hard to get, too. Requires the 100th floor of Nyzul Isle, or so I've heard.

. . . You're only keeping the Thanks because the News is awesome, nonetheless, even though I knew it, already. I'd better add the aforementioned item to my list of goals.
