Yeah that's a big issue. Last time it took SE entirely too long to get the AF for COR PUP and BLU. Maybe this time they'll be ready at launch or soon after.

3 months, I think I could do a new job to 75 in 3 months, Only took 2 for COR. Then again I was unemployed...

SE didn't take too long to get AFs out in ToA, in fact, the end result of that wait was some of the most modern and effective AF sets ever made. Very few jobs can say their AF lasted them all they way to the 70s.

However, they better have coffers for the new jobs this time, especially considering they're reusing old zones. NPC Craftable AF was a bad idea, at least with the first tier.

wouldn't AFv2 be easy to implement? I mean looking back AFv2 is just a better looking version of AF and +2 in stats and inhance some job ability...and throw it in a Dynamis zone...of course there's more to it but i wouldn't think it'd be something that takes 4-8 months to do...

Except that wouldn't work. You can't have relic for the new jobs in Dynamis for story purposes.

Much like how they add new endgame events every expansion, I'm sure this one will have tons of them. Special Super-High lvl-Battle-Inside-Atomos ftw?

I still wanna see temporal lvl cap raise (to 100) in special battlefields. With Abilities and spells only available there.

I don't know if many have followed (or even seen) Saint Seiya, but with all this Warriors of the Dawn Goddess theme it would be nice if the last battle was in a special BC. I think something along the lines of six lvl100 players with uber powered up Altana's Clothes fighting an enemy that would make AV look like a lvl 3 Mandragora.


Although... it might be kinda too much for people who doesn't like Saint Seiya.

1) The armor (Clothes) is what would allow you to reach lvl 100 and have the spells and abilities.

2) The Altana's Clothes could be something along the lines of White Ark Angel's Armor.

3) Considering a player wearing a set of Altana's Clothes would be able to solo AV easily, the BC enemy would have to be way beyond the current scale, which is always a good thing.

4) No, I don't think this will ever happen but I can only hope.

5) Saint seiya isn't dead, they are working on the rest of the series (anime) already.

Oh hell yeah. It took me like 4 years, 6 breaks from ffxi, 4 characters (most >20) a lv 50 samurai on anotjher character to get lv 75 samurai. Then after I dont know, 2 months of getting 75 samurai I started COR, then BAM ubnemployability skill kicks in! Before you know it another of Omgwtfbbq's trainees hits 75 COR

COr does have hidden skill Instavite after that limit break radio show with Omg on it, but before that the invites were still pretty sweet.

SE has hit a home run again. Dancer looks awesome (hopefully it'll be enough to keep the pessimists quiet). And as a Summoner I can't wait to see Karuha-Baruha in action. Then seeing Trion as a boy, and Volker and Zeid together... I have a feeling this mission line is going to have a really amazing story.
Oh and the RDM in me: freakin SWEET rose weapon skill. XD Reminds me of Kurama from Yuyu Hakusho.
