I am wondering something: If the maintance is going to take 8.5 hrs to complete, how long will the update take to install(hopefully not 10hrs like a recent 1).

Do what I do: Start the download before maintenance ends. It's how I pretty much always get online the moment the servers are back up.


@ _ @ for teh luv of gawd dun spred dis to da masses tho. I like my little anti-congestion technique and I feel it's ok to share it with the people here, but if the mass majority knew (which apparently they don't) my trick would be out the window.

I don't think the size of the update is typically related to the length of the maintenance window. If the update takes you 10 hours to get, it's because of congestion issues.
