Thank you for the information. I play FFXI via my XBox 360. Will this update be an automatic "pop-up" or something? OR, will I have to go through some certain links/options? Please let me know.

FFXI servers will go down at (whenever the maintanence starts, it's like 10am PDT or something) and you won't have access to the game. Eventually, the update says 3:30pm PDT but that depends, the POL servers will come online again and push the update. You won't be able to play until the update is complete.
