I thought the last sentence made it clear that we get one and only one Anniversary Ring.

I just got my anniversary ring today.
It looks really useful too. I spoke to the event moogle in Sandy, got the ring, and thought, WOW! this really cool! It gives 50 more ex points than the empress band I have. Can't wait to try it out!

Then I come back here, only to read that you cannot in any way recharge it once you have warn it out. Somehow, that just doesn't seem very fair to me at all!
I guess the only thing you can do once you have used it up, is to chuck it away. /sigh!

Ahh well.... back to the good old empress band again, and thinking of the good times I had with the aniverssary ring.


Edit : Only 10 uses too. I can see that waring out within a week or two. /sigh.

Umm... The anniversery ring gives 2000 more xp at a rate that is 2x faster than the empress....

I guess the only thing you can do once you have used it up, is to chuck it away. /sigh!

I dunno, the moogles did make a big deal about never throwing it away, EVER, so I'd be more inclined to hold onto it in case you can recharge it later on.

Just like last year's Adventurer Appreciation event, you can obtain one special prize from a Moogle every real life day. You always get the Anniversary Ring the first time you talk to a Moogle. The next day, you have the option to think about taking a prize, which pretty much ends your conversation with the Moogle, taking a prize, or waiting until the next day for a chance at an even better prize. I waited for 7 days last year and still got a Chocobo Ticket. I think that's just a trick. I suggest taking your prize everyday to maximize the number of free gifts you get.

Few questions. I'm reading the ring as 100% bonus. So if a mob gives you 200xp, you'll be getting 400? I forget what the empress band is, 50%?

And the recast timer. Can I really use it only one hour after I cast it? So in three hours I can use it three times?

You have it right. If it seems like it's too good to be true, keep in mind that you can't recharge it using CP like you can with Empress Band.

Think of it as a one time gift of 30k free exp from SE. Use if wisely!

I talked to the moogle 100 times a day every day last year and waited till the last day to get my reward. The moogle gave me Excalibur.
