Announcing Vana'diel Collection 2007 for Windows! (10/06/2006)

yay for repackaging! incidentally, i noticed they don't list a stand-alone ToAU expansion for sale any more

It's readily available though through most game stores and large retail chains like Best Buy and Walmart.

It's smart for them to keep doing this. Most consumers will take an item in one box over the same item in two boxes any day, even if they are the same price.

Interesting name considering it's released in 2006. I'd expect it to lure one or two people who have quit back to the game though.

I didn't get beaten to the punch, I posted at 11:54 EST, this was done at 11:55 EST. It says so on the posts.

It just so happens that a moderator and I were doing it at basically the same time. His powers of moderatorability (idk... sounds good in my head) killed my pathetic excuse for a post, because he was able to post straight to the news section. No big deal, as long as the info gets out there.

I'm very satisfied with my Vana'diel collection (old one) it makes installing so much faster. I bought it when I switched from PS2 to PC. Good to see that it is only $30, makes people more willing to buy. I think it's $60-$70 if you were to buy each expansion pack separately.

Moderability? or Moderatorability. err I like the 1st one not the latter.
I might want to pick up one of these collections. Should make re-installing a lot easier.
BTW does anyone have any experience with Vista & FFXI? Conflicts, issues, etc.

HaHa S.E your server populations are dwindling. On my server be barely were at2k at NA primetime. JPN primetime was even worse...

That's interesting, last night there were almost 3k players online on my server, and it's always been like that since I started playing. Well it might've actually gone up, because I remember little more than 2k players when I first started.

Weekends there are 3.5k+ online unless it's time for finals and stuff, those days the population drops a little.

BTW was your coment supposed to mark the end of XI or something? Are you still playing the game or just wanted to say something against it?
