Why people like little ninja or grizzlebeard have to derail threads with trolling, YET AGAIN in little ninjas place, is beyond me. If you guys wish to act stupid and childish, switch over to allah or Killing Ifrit please. They support that type of behavior there. Don't bring it here.

That said, in regards to the comments on Blizz and FFXI, Blizz doesn't really have much to fear in regards to ANY marketing strategy SE could come up with. The structure and popularity of WoW will keep Blizz on top in terms of subscriptions for some time, and losing a few thousand subscribers to a move like this isn't really gonna faze them in the very least, especially with the new expansion rolling out.

It'd be a good move if SE correlated another 'Return to Vana'diel' campaign with the launch of the new Collection set. The last one was fairly popular and I know a handful of people personally in real life who returned to the game, with only 1 of them dropping after 3 months.

So because it happened in the past, it makes your statements less trollish? Right. I can see why you were too nearsighted to notice the difference between WoW and FFXI endgame in that other topic before. Common sense doesn't apply to you apparently. I'll do the smart thing and just ignore you though, arguing with trolls like you is a wasted effort.

I play on Fairy World and nightly PST there are 2800-3400 people playing at anytime I log in. I've actually seen a increase on my world since the xbox360 release. I see no signs of the population decreasing here.

(Before AU expansion anywhere from 2400-2990 a night)

The collection is on Amazon now(wasnt until yesterday), I'm thinking of pre-ordering it.
