This sounds great. I was afraid while reading most of it, as it sounded like you wouldn't be able to show off or call your chocobo once it's retired, but that doesn't seem to be the case. And I'm excited about all the options and work you can put into it; I'm glad they're not just mounts you buy.

Now I just need to get my PC's internet back.

This looks amazing and it has from the start. But I'm wondering, looking at the chart thingy at the end, do no activities boost affection? Will it be raised by feeding our chocobo?

The things on the chart don't involve the player. Those activities are the NPC care plans for your chocobo. From what I read you have to go see your chocobo to raise affection.

Just got my egg, Tele-Hola for 2,000 Just to find out Chocobo's price is 2600+ Gill , Even JP's are running instead heh.

Answering my own question in case anyone else has it. After speaking to the little elvaan in the chocobo stables, San d'Oria, apparently anything that goes under "Care for your chocobo" boosts affection. When it is an egg, I guess you just watch it occasionally.

So, has anyone found anything out about the different eggs? The only variation is in the description of their warmth (somewhat, slightly, faintly, little, and bit).

Nope, but I have a more intriguing question:

What's the difference between basic care plans 0-3? None of the npcs say, and nothing on the official website mentions the difference between them, unless I missed something. >.<

I don't think so. For each plan, there is an option for 1-7 days....but there is no differentiation between said basic plan numbers. I have no idea. >.<
