Last year's popular Return Home To Vana'diel Campaign is back.
This limited-time campaign offers customers who have deleted their characters an opportunity to adventure through Vana'diel once again with their original characters.
When you purchase a FINAL FANTASY XI Content ID during the campaign period, you can have previously deleted character data restored onto that ID, and resume play immediately!

With the release of TREASURES OF AHT URHGAN, The world of FINAL FANTASY XI has become more accessible and convenient than ever. Please use this opportunity to return to Vana'diel, and return to adventure!

* The application process for the Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign will differ according to your current FINAL FANTASY XI service status. Please proceed to the "Type A" or "Type B" page to confirm which you are eligible for.

- The applicant must be a former PlayOnline member (i.e. the person whose name was registered) who played FINAL FANTASY XI before cancelling the account.
- The membership information of the applicant has been deleted, thus the regular reactivation process for PlayOnline accounts and FINAL FANTASY XI Content IDs cannot be used.

The Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign - Type B

- The applicant must be a current PlayOnline member.
- The applicant has cancelled a FINAL FANTASY XI Content ID, and is unable to use the regular Content ID reactivation process because the reactivation period has passed.

* The above eligibility also applies to applicants who have deleted their characters on their Content IDs before cancelling the ID itself.

Applicants will be ineligible for the campaign if any of the following apply:
- The applicant has cancelled his/her PlayOnline account, but has never purchased a FINAL FANTASY XI Content ID.
- The applicant had his/her PlayOnline membership revoked due to violations of the "PlayOnline Member Agreement," "FINAL FANTASY XI Software License Agreement," and/or "FINAL FANTASY XI User Agreement."
- The applicant is eligible to have his/her character reactivated through the Information Center.

Installing FFXI and POL... ;D

Just in case:

- I cancelled my CONTENT ID (2 characters attached) in summer 2004 (maybe a little later). I can acess POL with my old POL ID (and all my information -adress, cc, etc- is ok) but I can't reactivate my old CONTENT ID's as they've been deleted after the 3 month period.

I guess I'm type B. Can someone confirm it? Thank you!

When I came back last week after being gone longer than a year away from the game I was able to reactivate my POL but not the Content IDs. I started a new Content ID and used a WP to play on another server from my original Content ID. If I were to reactivate my deleted Content ID by using this program would I be able to play both Content IDs (two different worlds) on the same account?

yes, but not both at the same time. you'll just have one character on Unicorn and another with your old server.

Oh I meant be able to have (not play) both Content IDs on same account. I was asking this because recalling my old Content ID that I had for my old main character might be worth restoring for $1 more a month versus having to pay an additional fee of $12.95 for a 2nd account in order to have it.

I tried with the last return to vanadiel program, but they wouldn't let me because my pol account got deleted, which is the main reason I ported over to the PC in the first place. Even if I could, I doubt I would revive her... she's on Phoenix and I've made a new home on Ramuh and wouldn't trade my new LS family even for a 75 toon.
