I know when I first started on these boards and we listed character info, I could see it. Now, I can't. I've been religiously updating my own info, but I still can't see anyone else's. For instance, let's say I decide to take a look at Feba's character profile. Feba doesn't play anymore, so I'm not sure whether he has any info or not, but even if he did I still see the following under "FFXI Character Info": Feba is not a member of any public groups.
Is there a button I'm missing that lets me see what others have levelled? Or have I enabled or disabled something in my User settings that blocked this? I know others can see this info, and I'm assuming I've been updating mine so they can read it. So maybe the people you are interested in choose not to show theirs also? Also I believe it uses Flash, do you have those settings enabled? Anyway, I'm pretty sure this feature got messed up in a site update, and never bothered to get updated. If I do that on myself, I get exactly the same effect. I tried going through settings, and even added myself to my buddy list, ("part man, part dog, I'm my own best friend,") I can't even see me on the View Public Profile list. So it's probably something with your account. Now if I can just figure out how to fix it so I can see things again.
On that note, I'm also having problems uploading a .jpeg signature from my computer to the website, is there a particular trick to getting this to work? I'm getting to the right menu to do it, it just won't seem to pull it off my drive. Because nobody really cares. You'd be better off starting an FFXI blog and linking it in your sig, at least that would be remotely interesting.

Any chance they'll put this back up in Version 5's?
