My First MMO

Alright everyone this is my very first MMO that i have ever played. So i need some help on some things here. Just a couple of simiple questions really. Is it easy to get into clans, i think they are called linkshells on this game. Also in this game how do you get missions and what not? Thanks for the help. Oh and i have read the noob like guides and i still dont get some of this haha.

Talk to all of the NPCs. Some will have quests for you (though these quests don't give you exp, they will reward you with items in some cases, and teach you a bit about the world). Missions are given by a gate guard in your nation. Without knowing which nation you are, I can't name the NPC specifically, but this link should help.

As for Linkshells, it varies. For a new player just looking to join a social shell, it's often as simple as asking someone for a pearl.

hey thanks. like i remeber playing the beta and not knowing ever how to get a mission so im one step father now haha. to bad the load time is taking forever.

Just keep in mind that there is a difference between missions (follow a set storyline and generally require a bit of work and help) and quests (often completely independent of one another, and simply for flavor).
