Starting up again need help - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

Hello everyone call me Swoozie, I used to play FFXI a long time I have the Vanadiel Collection (Rise of Zialart) and (Chains of Promathia). I am getting planned to get FFXi again but theres so many questions.

(Before) I had a small screen, dull computer

(Now) I have 360 + HDTV new computer screen and new computer.

(Before) It was a PC account I had two characters I deleted both so I stop getting charged is that the right way to do it? Cause I did that before and all I had to do was restore character and continue playing again.

(Now) I really would prefer to play on my 360 bigger screen and 0% for lag issues or problems like most computers have sometimes.

One problem I forgot the whole log in set up do we log in with email? If so I should be able to guess out of 2 emails I could of used for that account. Is resetting accounts simple like forget password (Sent to email) or secret questions? Also I have noticed alot of new expansions have come out if I buy the new pack for 360 can someone explain to me exactly what I will do once I download FFXI?

Also does anyone here play FFXI on the 360? If so please tell me quality, connection quality, etc.

Actually, you don't have to delete your characters to stop billing. You cancel the content ID which is attached to the character. Deleting your characters is never a good idea.

Your best best would be to buy the 360 version with all expansions included. It works pretty much the same. Just install, register, and update. Be sure to indicate that you already have an account at the start of the process, so you can (hopefully) gain access to your old characters. I'm not sure if you have the account information still or not. If you don't, you might want to contact customer service first. I'm not sure.

For now I am just gonna do my research learn as much about the game as I can. This website is very nice the forums are awesome and have great guides.

Most of us around here are a very helpful bunch, this community has been part of the reason I still play the game. Oh, and the fact that the game is addictive and fun.

Well I will be here for a long time. The members seem very nice and the forum design is just awesome. What about what server I should play on? Not to be a noob.. but I could you know use a push from someone and a nice LS.

I forgot to mention I am quitting WoW for this. That community is so full of lifeless zombies.. I have a lv70 and I often help newbies just when I got freetime. Other lv70s on their free time sit around and ignore all need for help.. I remember playing this game no matter what LS everyone helped armor,questions,quests,tips everything LS are more unique each person is active WoW guilds each guild is maybe 50% of their members are actually active.
