Sig problems, etc....

I am trying to make hyper links for my 2 jobs listed in my sig. I can use the [url] tags, but the hyperlink itself is displayed. Any idea how to make just what I want displayed a link, or is it even possible?

Also, I would like to make an image a link as well. I followed the examples in the vbCode FAQ, but my link was displayed and not my image. /sigh.

Replace the <>'s with []'s and that should do it.

or you could

hit the quote button on this, and see what I did.

or you could use the link button in the toolbar when doing advanced posting.

All I got was http:\\www.google.com[/url] as being displayed

Maybe it's the fact that you're surrounding your jobs themselves with the same brackets vbCode uses for creating tags. Try surrounding them with something else, or nothing, instead.

Ok, I think I got that, thanks for the replies. Now, how would I add color to the link itself, if that is possible? I been trying to add color tags, but the link takes me to some <font%20 color link ><

I mean, like, copy and paste. Scroll up to the post that has the link thing in it, hit the Quote button on that post. You should get a textbox with what I entered to get the link. Highlight it, Ctrl-C to copy, open Notepad just for the heck of it, Ctrl-V to paste. Change the URL to whatever it should be, then copy that back and paste it into the relevant portion of your sig. If you're on a Mac, y'know, do whatever you do to copy and paste on a Mac.
