Hello,

I'm trying to see how many would be interested in forming a static group/LS with new/returning players who have to start out from scratch.

I'd be willing to foot the bill for a nice Vent server for our use and setup forums if there were enough interest.

I played FFXI during CoP and had to quit for various reasons, I've decided to start playing again and found that I really enjoy the game, the concept and that I look forward to the end game. Everything is new to me due to all the expansions since then.

Unfortunately most of what has been released right now is not new to most players. It's basically a catch22; you would like to do the CoP missions, quests, etc. but everyone has done them, or it's old news.

I haven't seen the cutscenes, I haven't seen the storyline progress, I'd like to see all of that content. Eventually I'd like to add more experienced members so that when we're able to do Sky/Sea/etc we can.

But for now, I'd like to form a group that can work together to get to that point.

I know there are a few players in my situatio that will end up wandering off to other servers and starting it out alone, or with 1 partner perhaps; so I purpose that we all come together and make a concentrated group effort of it. Playing together and enjoying the game as a group will probably promote a more enjoyable experience for all of us.

It might be a bit presumptious of me to step out and suggest this, but I hope I'm not alone with my thoughts and feelings on this subject.
