Hey, I'm a new player on Asura and this game's learning curve is quite steep. I'm just looking for anyone that's willing to answer constant questions I seem to come up with about this game.

Also, if anyone else is just starting out and is rolling on Asura, send me a tell (/t) so I can have people to level with! My in-game name is: Santanah. Also, I'm in Windurst, so if you haven't chosen a starter city, it would be easier if you rolled there.

Ok, so as a BLM, is enfeebling an important magic skill to raise? And does Poision raise enfeebling because I'm having a tough time getting it anywhere.

BLMs focus more on landing their elemental nukes since that is their primary form of dealing damage. It would be wise to skill up your enfeebling since you will be using it pretty often as well, plus it helps when you work on RDM (since it will be used as a sub job sometimes, you will learn about those later). Poison should count as enfeebling magic if I remember correctly.

Yes, but not as important as Elemental. Cap that first.

And does Poision raise enfeebling because I'm having a tough time getting it anywhere.

I'm not postitve because my enfeebling skill has been capped for some time now, but I'm pretty sure it does. If you're having trouble getting skillups, it's very possible you may need to start casting on stronger mobs (which you might not beable to do solo.)

Make sure you're casting on Even Match or higher monsters. The best way to do this is by spamming Bio and Stone in Besieged. Once you cap, switch to spamming Cure II the rest of the battle for points.

Here's another question:

Can Posion kill your character? I was out of combat and Poison was ticking and it faded right at 1 hp.

Yes it can kill you, you just got lucky that it wore at 1hp left LOL.

Very VERY lucky! LOL Poison deaths really suck.

White mage gets the poisona spell at level 6 and that cures poison for 8 mp I believe.
