I'm new here and to FFXI ^^'' Located on the Siren server. Anyone else play there? I'm on at wacky times for an EST person so hope I can find new friends. >< What are linkshells? Are they like guilds? I see it mentioned a lot through sites, but can't seem to find the answer  |

Linkshells are similar to guilds. Really they are used by players communicated with each other no matter your location in game. The purpose of them can range from helping beginning players, crafting, social, to endgame. Really just depends on the person starting the shell and what they want it to become.

Hello junkie and welcome to the forums. To find more people on your server, why don't you try looking through the specific Siren server boards?  You might find a nice starting linkshell through there as well to help you out with things!
