hey im new and have a big problem

im trying to start up FFXI and i have a big problem. i bought this from funco land
EBgames.com - Buy Final Fantasy XI Online: Vana'Diel 08 - PS2
and it says i need an HDD, and format disc...i was wondering where i can get one, and if i need codes to make an account cause im not sure if the codes came with it

can anyone tell me anything?

The codes are usually at the end of the manual.

You need a PS2 HDD if you want to install it, although it seems those are kinda hard to find nowadays. If you are playing on a PS3 it already includes the HDD (given it has backwards compatibility).

Edit > The new slim PS2 models don't support an HDD as far as I know.

right now, eBay and Amazon.com are probably your best bet for finding a PS2 HDD, you cannot play FFXI on PS2 without one.

yeah, i dont want to sound like an ass but i kinda figured, cause i buy it....and im so fucking happy to rape some monster and the nex tthing you know....some HDD error comes upp WT*....they should post that on the case lol....thanks though
