Long story short. Bought the game when it first hit North America, but didnt have the pc for it, time went on, never got a pc upgrade, so I gave it to a friend. The friend never got it installed gave it back to me BUT he lost the book. Now I am desperately in need for a cd key if only to try it and see if I want to buy it all over again.

Thanks very much if someone has a buddy trial for me to use. I would very much appreciate!!

requesting a key please i despretly wanna play the game now i came from world of warcraft played that for a year lvl 60 on there tier 2 and all but its boring and i like the style of FFXI alot more its my kind of mmorpg my friend already plays and i wanna play with him in it thank you my email is r.cilente@rcn.com

I too am interested. I've played WoW, and I'm bored with it. I've loved FF ever since the old Nintendo days, so if anyone wants to help me out, I'd love it!

I have the FFXI collection of vana d'iel coming in a week, and have a question

1) can someone get me a buddy pass

2) What worlds have the lowest number of gilsellers?

*) if I get a buddy pass, can I use my 30 day free trail after using the buddy pass therefor resulting in 2 months of free play? or do they counteract eachother ie only one can be used or can I enter the second code after my trial/buddy pass ends/expires?*

neighbortaru>> no, it's one or the other. you can't combine them to get 2 months free. however, you can use the other code to start a new account and play free for 30 days.

Im seriously thinking of buying FFXI but id like to try it first, because i dont get very much money and i dont want to waste it, it would be sad if i wont like the game... i have nothing for change(exept all the gils on my forum account), but if some1 would be so nice and give me one, i´d be very grateful

I would very much like to try this game out. Last time I played was a good bit ago, and after reading these forums and reminiscing, I would like to give it a try. I remember it being very fun and just want to give it more of a chance this time.

Edit: Also, I have 3 free trials of Dark Age of Camelot if anyone would like...don't know why you would though if you're playing FFXI :D

Hoiw does the buddy system work?
I show a serial jumber and a websaite to download but is that all someone needs or does they person rewcieving the pass need to have their own copy?

I use to play, apparently when I cancelled I also cancelled my pol id.. anyone willing to give me a buddy pass, I think I want to play again but before buying a 2nd copy of the game I want to see if I will like it or not. If I do like it, I'll give you my buddy pass to you when I buy another copy of the game..
