Safe spots for skilling off high-lvl worms?

Basically my Elemental Magic is gimped because of {Burn} parties, but I've been skilling it pretty well off Cave Worms in Kuftal Tunnel. Problem is, it's so damn dangerous in there with aggro from Robber Crabs/Elementals/Haunts.

Is there another lvl with worms that a above 63 that I can go for a much lesser chance at death?

Trying to find a zone that other mobs don't cross with the worms so I can run away if possible and not aggro 10 different things

Don't have time to look now. Just look it up on FFXIClopedia (Category: Worms) or FFXI Atlas' Bestiary.

You could simply follow a BLM solo guide. Just pick the areas that are appropriate for your skill level instead of job level.

If you can find the way up and know in which hole to slide down from the top for which you need to pass that big friendly purple dragon Jormungand.

It's the cave you have to drop into for the Uleguerand range map quest too.
As far as I could remember there's only worms in that specific tunnel, with the chance of one of them being an NM.

Thanks all, and I didn't think to look at the Worm Category specifically. I'll check into it. I haven't been to the past yet so I'm hoping the mobs are all in the present lol

A place to skill up and no way to die in (Aydeewa Subterrane) mob: Qiqirn Enterpriser you can go has /whm. just go in Bhaflau Thickets to (I-7) where you get blu in the pool is your camp if you link you just step on water to losse link

I was thinking about this last night and there's something I don't understand. If you want to skillup your magic, and you choose worms as your target mob. Won't you have to use a lot of Echo Drops while skilling up?

Cast at max range and use Silence ... still, there are other possibilities for skilling up. If your enfeebling skill is better off, you can kill goldfish/dolphins/whatever-you-call-them in Sea ... and if it's not, you can skill it up there first. There's also the Qiqirn to kill (as said above), as the RNG do NOT close the range. I think you could probably be fairly effective against mobs a bit above your skill level, since you have the spells to do good damage. Oh, and don't forget to catch Besieged and spam spells, you can make up a LOT of skill that way...

Why not just cap your skill in beseiged? It's so easy to cap magic skill there. You can easily gain about 10 levels per beseiged.

Unless the OP can reliably land Gravity, Bind, and Sleep, it's probably a bad idea to cast Elemental Magic on 'hpemdes for skill up, since they will hit back.
