Question FoV NM Augments: Are they totally random?

A few LS mates and I have started to mess around with the elite training sections of the field manual, however after defeating the monster and retrieving our traded equipment, there have only been elemental resist augments added of varying strengths.

Is it possible to actually get stat boost augments from FoV NMs or is it just random elemental resist additions? Also, do the augments improve (even though random) with higher difficulty in battles (say Chapter 3 or 4 instead of Introduction or Chapter 1)? They really don't seem that hard to defeat, but not sure if we should be saving those tabs for something else.

Talk:Gudanna - FFXIclopedia - a Wikia Gaming wiki List of Possible Augments gained so far from the level 50 NM. There are alot of elemental resistance and you go up in difficulty there appear to be a few more chances to get gear with stat bonuses. Although at the same time there are quite a few stat negatives, pay special attention to the Sniper's Ring with -4 Dex.

As a answer to your question though, it appears that is still quite random at this time.

Gotcha, so it's still sort of a gamble. Also I see on even some of the lower ones you can still get stat bonuses. Guess we'll keep experimenting with either duplicate stuff or equipment we might use on lower level jobs.

Definite ouch on the Sniper's ring. If anything i'd just try to improve sorta low cost items instead of going for the jackpot on expensive items.

Yeah that is a really good one. I'd definently like to be the owner of that life belt lol.
