You didn't have to check BG to figure out that would happen, particularly when half the people wanted that theory to fail to start with just to troll a thread they were already trolling anyway.

But as the guy said in the article, the experience was not a total loss. His linkshell's tanking strategy improved and RNGs proved to be handy for whittling down AV's HP.

Well it wasn't a total loss, that's for sure. Most AV threads on BG start out with "Not this shit again" and go further downhill from there. At least this most recent thread showed promise for people to try to actually work on theories again.

Sadly though we are back to the same problem we were on years ago of how to deal with benediction.
