I was trying to think of ways to do this, but I just haven't come up with anything so far. I was wondering if anyone here has done a successful triple pop, or has a certain strategy.

What job are you? It's possible to duo all 3 ix'aerns as black mage.

As a Beastmaster though, it might be more difficult. You definitely cannot straight tank them.

I have my blm to 72 and plenty at LS disposal, just havent taken the time to finish it off yet... some other misc jobs: Bst, Whm, Pld, War are all 75...

Probably best to duo them, but where would you do it considering theres only one panel room on that floor? ; ;

First off, if you're going to do this on black mage, make sure to sub ninja. Also bring lots of Reraise.

Well, a much better question would be, which Job are you trying to pop?

If you're trying to pop Monk, the best choice is to run in, pop it and run as far as you can to the Ebon Panel room. Then after you die, the other black mage that you duo with can grab him and run him the rest of the way to the room. After that, it's just a kiting fight. I usually just find a corner and run the monk around it and let the other black mage nuke. Repeat until dead.

If you're trying to pop Drk, pretty much the same deal. Have whichever black mage has aern hate pop it. The other black mage will then cast stun on the Drk and run him over to the room with the chasm in the center of it (adjacent to the tunnel that leads out of the room). Once the black mage with the mobs is dead, have him RR and then run to the room with Drk.

Word of warning though, Drk has the ability to RR up to 45? times, so be prepared for a long fight. Also, make sure to keep shadows up for casts and possible melee attacks if he gets too close.

The last one would be Dragoon. For this one, you'll end up using the teleporter. Nuke, run through teleporter. Let other black mage nuke, run through teleporter. Rinse and repeat until dead.

I've been relatively lucky with DRK. Probably the most times I've killed him was 10 before he dropped something. I've heard much worse stories though.

I went into sea and there was an ls doing Ix'drk. I felt so bad for them that I stayed and helped. The damn thing rr'd 13 times while I was there. Don't know how many it did before that but it had to be more than a few since they were in pretty bad shape. Personally, I've only had one time where it was a bit hairy and I usually have the worst luck.

sorry I should have been a bit more specific, Ix'aern Mnk triple pop is what we will be doing, but I was wondering about all triple pops in general (if there are more that I am not aware of).

The sacking wont be hard with some movement speed + but with duoing each of the pops, one panel room probably wont cut it.

It's very possible to do. I've done it many times without movement+ speed. You want to wait until the blackmage who popped gets past the aerns in the room before Ebon Panel ( or you can kill them ahead of time ). After that, the popper just dies, the adds idle back to the original spot, and the kiter takes them to the ebon panel room.

It takes a bit of practice, but if you're unsure, take more black mages to be safe.

All the Ix's spawn with helpers, just that the MNK you can choose to not do a 'full' pop and do it with only 1 organ.

The easiest way is to just sac it to the panel room, die at the far end, RR immediately, and claim it...although as a BLM I'd highly recommend not trying this without gaiters since you can't have both shadows and Stoneskin...to boot I wouldn't bother trying it until you hit 75.

I've managed to make this pull once without sac pulling, however it requires some sort of movement speed + to try it.
