Long-Bowed Chariot Help Please

Hi guys

Does anyone know if fighting the little chariot before LBC really helps? I've been told that it slows LBC's attack speed. Can anyone verify this please?

Lastly for the 10 gears we seem to have a problem killing them in the one minute time frame. What's the best approach for this? It seems if it ever uses Restoral . .we're fucked >.>

Killing the chariot does help but it is more important to kill the gears, from what I remember. We would kill the gears SC + MB style. Ice nukes only. I am not the planner of salvage so I am just saying from experince.
