Mee Deggi

I"m currently taking SAM all the way to 75 BUT i love to camp NMs for my gear instead of buying them at the outrageous prices. Like any good player, I want the best for my character. The Ochimusha Kote is in my crosshair but I do not think I can camp this NM solo just yet.

My question or questions are:
At what lvl can I solo this NM, and not get aggroed by the surrounding mobs

Can this be done with a 42sam/21war?

Deggi is reported as being Lv.36. Usually, a Lv.42 melee could solo a Lv.36 mob, but a NM is often a different case.

Of course there's the issue of the other mobs in the area. I don't think the Crabs or Crawlers will agro, but the other Yagudo (Some place holders, some not.) will probably agro - at the least link. I camped this my first time as DRK60, and had no links and could destroy all mobs including the NM. When I finally got this done, I used a friend's THF70 to camp it and it still took me 18 tries to get it.

As far as you're long list of NMs and you're insanely broken success at getting items, I can only say this. DIAF!

I think its a claim success rate. If its drop rate, it is retardedly broken and he has no chance of ever dieing in a fire unfortunately, unless his luck one day runs out completely. Odd predicament, waste luck on nm drops or save it all up and miss dieing in a fire? Lets hope for your sake it never runs out.

You should be able to solo it however, if you get any links from the surrounding yagudo, you will probably die.

This would be a tough area to solo Mee Deggi because all the Yagudo link and not only that but i was camping him and noticed after every fight a lvl 50 thf had to take a rest.

considering your a sam makes that better plus what the hell is a thf doing without bloody bolts anyway.

If your going to farm this NM though here are a couple tricks for you,

1. Mee Deggi the Punisher is a BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!! I am currently 0/21 on him and to think its only a damn rare/ex now >< Thanks for that SE. Anyway you may be better off farming the gil. He is severly overcamped and drop can suck royally.

2. If your gonna be persistent such as myself there is a trick that not many know about. And because i hate the damn bird having him die on a regular basis makes me happy. His place holder is an Interrogator or Drummer only. Bard or Sam. In the area there is also nin and smn which do nothing for you. The exact place holder will spawn in the water or on the platform and walk into the water. Again i repeat only if its a SAm or Brd though. Other than that if you see one spawn and walk into the water its not the same thing, it only counts if it pops in the water. Having said that once you kill that specific Yagudo Mee Deggi will eventually spawn in its place, so you only have to continue killing that one. Sometimes he is the next pop sometimes you have to kill the yagudo a couple more times. I hope this helps.

Also keep in mind Mee Deggi will use Hundred Fists so as a lower lvl even if you can get by that could be the deciding factor in your fight.

Well, I found that he no longer spawns from just the Drummer/Interrogator, saw both of them up, and someone claimed him right infront of me. I also spent about three hours just killing the two of them, and he didn't show up. So yeah, just kill every Yagudo there.

As for soloing, a friend of mine doesn't aggro and can safely solo everything else in there at 49SAM.

Oh, and I'm 0/16 with TH.

Mee Deggi is a 30 min to 8hour spawn now so 3 hours is not enough time to force his pop. And it is Interrogators and Drummers only. I have done this numerous times and it always works. But just because the PH spawns in the water don't mean Mee Deggi will he will spawn in the general vicinity. Check it out.

EDIT: Okay, I just lost claim on him rather badly. I found out that there is no PH anymore since that update SE did a while back (I'd like to know why the hell this hasn't been corrected on any websites) and he is now a timed spawn and can pop anywhere in the room.

He's not timed spawn, but is now just any random yagudo is PH.

Fraid not. 'cause the other 2 people that were there last night didn't do much. One was a THF who didn't kill any PH, and the other was a SAM who just cleared out the 2 yagudo on the platform and Mee Deggi popped shortly after (well before their 12 minute respawn timers were up)

I camped this NM once with a LS buddy, and it was about 2 years ago. At that time the NM was dropping either RARE/EX or the one that you can sell. So me and him were running around in circle while about 20 other dudes were camping this NM, and the NM poped right beside me, At that time, i was Sam45 i beleive... anyway, close to that lvl. So I /panic and povoked him and we got the NM !!! He was another Sam, so we were both SAM/THF.
We kill the NM and it dropped the RARE/EX gloves. Att+20... so we were pissed that we were not able to sell them for Gill and split the profit, so we casted lot on it. He was first to cast lot and he got 22 !!! So i was like, THEY ARE MINEEEEE!!!!!!. I casted lot, got 31.
Woot woot. So im 1/1 for that NM and took about 1 hours to spawn.

At that time I remember that everyone was killing all of the yagudo's.
Since all the updates and stuff, I am not up to date on this NM. Sorry, just wanted to share my experience with this cool NM.

P.S: Please dont pay attention to my spelling and english. I am a french dude.
