BCNM20-Charmed Trio

I was wondering, what are some good setups for this BCNM? I've heard WAR/NIN NIN/WAR WHM and such. Then I hear of like a thousand different setups. So, what are some setups that can beat this BCNM easily?

Tank/DD - DD - healer. War war whm is the setup I usually see, probably since almost all DDs have war at that level. The non-tank DD can be anything but mnk since leeches take reduced damage from blunt/h2h attacks. Tank runs in and aggros the group, and the two melee take down each leech one at a time while the healer keeps the tank alive. Do not touch any leech except the one you're fighting with anything and they'll only attack the tank.

My favourite setup for this is WAR/NIN, WAR/NIN and RDM/WHM.

After buffing, WARs take the left Lizard, while the RDM gravity and binds the right one and kites it until the WARs have finished off theirs. Don't bother trying to get utsusemi: Ichi up while you are the hate target, wait until the partner WAR vokes it off you, otherwise you just waste time.

Also I like to get in an acid bolt on the 1st lizard before anyone has attacked, a WAR with capped marksmanship can land an acid before they do their eva+ move, after that forget trying to land on.

Never failed with this strat. Always take hi-pots and yag drinks though, sometimes you can get unlucky with a petrify and take a beating.

Oops, my advice was for Petrifying Pair BCNM30. I do that one and Charming Trio often so got the names mixed up. My bad.

Are the drops any good for Petrifying pair?

Everytime Iv done it they have been meh. Good drops are Ni and Boots, but imo there are better BC's for these drops (i.e Royal Jelly for Ni). Drop rates are not anything people scream about.
