Camp discussion
So i've been camping VE on and off with a bunch of LS mates trying to get everyone Bounding boots and a hairpin. So i show up one day and start chatting it up with a BLM/Rng taru. Towards the end of the convo i just ask him nicly and politly if he knew when LL last popped and he went berserk on me and just freaked out. Then he porceeded to check me and critisize me and why I'm not subbin Rng and what not. Okay for one you don't nessacairly need /rng to camp LL, Why? becasue LL is hardly camped anymore since they made it rare/ex atleast on fairy. Theres the occasional lvl 3-7 wandering around killin lizzies for ya but won't touch LL. Anyways i finish it up by sayign chill out you lil prepupecent ill manered prick.

So the question of the nite or early morning for me. IS it wrong to /shout or /say If the or when the NM last popped??

Also the same thing happened while i was over in the dunes waitin for VE...is it so wrong to ask those questions...??

Re: Camp discussion
I don't think there's any etiquette with respect to requesting pop times on NMs. ToD doesn't matter significantly with VE or LL since they can spawn very soon (or very not soon) after they're killed.

On long-spawns, our LS usually keeps this information secret because chances are someone else is going to want whatever the NM drops, too, and we put LS mates ahead of Random Joe Competition.

This person's reaction was... juvenile at best. He could've just as easily lied to you or just remained tight-lipped to better effect than having a tantrum.

[EDIT: Add]
The "Prepubescent Ill-mannered little prick" remark was probably equally juvenile. Next time you could come out the better by not descending into the depths of the STFUN00B insulting mode of speech which, I find, is especially annoying when in the /shout channel. Sometimes you want to watch shouts so that you can help with something like say... a party wipe who needs Raise or the occasional party who's camp has been overrun by a Thunder Elemental and requests that someone of your stature come and take it's precious crystals so that they can continue casting spells in peace.... I filter /shout during "STFU Weather"...

Re: Camp discussion
NM hunting is not an activity that hunters will be friendly to their competitors I'm afraid. Every information that may help them claim the next pop easier, are valuable informations that can help them predict the next pop and hopefully win the claim. Not so important for LL/VE but still it's not what people want to share generally.

You are their conpetito. You are their enemy. That's pretty much the reason.

but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
transform a yellow spot into the sun.
