Which do you think is best or which one you are going for and why?
Monk/Warrior
Increased Str, Increased Vit, Increased HP, Taunt ability (even though monk defense isn't the greatest), and Double Attack
Monk/Thief
Increased Dex, Increased Agi, More items/gil, Backstab ability, Sneak attack ability
Feel free to correct or add to my analyzation There are three kinds of people in this world; those who can count and those who can't.

The only times I go MNK/THF is when PT is looking for items. Having THF sub for Fui'dama is normally only useful for tacking on extra damage onto WS/renkeis (since fui'dama damage is based on the level of THF and independent of main) you won't be doing more than a couple of hundred damage on a placed fui'dama attack as THF sub, though gil steal and treasure hunter I are nice to have when you go on fundraising trips...and now that they've lowered item drops, you'll be doing a lot more random trips to collect gil then item farming. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 05-26-2003, 08:05 AM | #3 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: May 2003 Posts: 37 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 65 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 65 Donate | monk/beastmaster i would be a monk beastmaster because beast master ....looks a bit like a druid .... and im a druid fanatic so .... its close to my char xavier eden i invented ....but there is MANY MANY MANY TOO MUCH THINGS THAT A BEAST MASTER CANNOT DO UNLIKE A DRUID

-Saikah | Sure they can, but you can only tame up to the ability of the BST level...actually, it wasn't like that always...you used to be able to sub BST 1 and tame up to your main level, but SquareEnix changed that in a patch, much to the dismay of many...
anyways... As a /BST sub, you CAN use Tame... | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 08-14-2003, 10:03 AM | #13 (permalink) | | Member Join Date: Jan 2003 Posts: 706 Style: Dark - Version 5 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 543 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 543 Donate | I'm a monk/theif... just because there's Physical Evasion boost (theif), Dodge (monk), and then I have items that give +6 evasion too. Theives give a little boost to the stats too, and steal comes in handy... even gilfinder. I can go to Ghelsba and kill orcs and one hit and got 20 gil each. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 08-17-2003, 01:13 AM | #14 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2003 Posts: 163 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 552 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 552 Donate | Berserk Monk >>>> Backstabbing Thief
EDIT: I have reconsidered my postion, I think it really depends on the PT. If they need a DMG/back up tank go WAR, if they need a more versitle hate slinger go THF. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -8.
