Would this give MNK good ability to solo with /brd for Minuet + Minuet II?

It would give a great increase in attack, just curious if anyone has experimented?

No.

You can only keep 1 song effect with /brd. And you get no bonus from instruments.

Minuet I/II from a Bard subjob offers very little Attack bonus, compared to a main job Bard. Not only is your level capped at half of your main, but without an instrument, you rely solely on Singing skill to power your songs, which makes any song without a fixed effect (Raptor Mazurka, Mage's Ballad) fairly weak.

Bard subjob has its place on occasion, but it's never for the gimped versions of Minuet you get from it.
