They drop from a NM in Phomiuna Aqueducts. I've actually killed it once while my LS was there subligar hunting, and it was kinda tough if I remember right.
Well, in the first place, you have to be on CoP Mission 2-3 to have access to the Aqueducts, plus it's a lottery pop from Fomor Black Mage, so you'll have to kill a bit, and also, the NM is followed and assisted by another monster, so you'll end up fighting two mobs.
We beat the NM and his partner with 7 peole if I remember correctly, but it did get kinda close. However, we did go 1/1 on the claws, if that means anything. Depending on the type of friends you have, it might be tough to get a bunch of people down there to kill it...try setting up a subligar run so you guys will have something to do in between spawns maybe?

Drops off a NM in Phomiuna Aqueducts named Tres Duendes. It's a bat triplet character which also spawns with Duendes' Amoroso and Fomor NM.
It's a level 40 cap area accessable after some CoP missions. Wiki has some party setup strategys if you'd like to read up on it and have access to that area. I found that the BST was the most useful char in our party setup, not only widescan to get there, but added an extra DD to the party.

I've always found Tres Duendes funny. A bat triplet that has a tarutaru fomor as a pet.  Haggai

personally when we faught him with 6 had whm, blm, ninx2, war and rng
what you will want to do is pull tres pet fomor we have never goten a solo pull off this (could very well have been our puller). You want your blm to ES silence the pet blm. At that point kill the pet asap as one nin or a dd holds off the bat. Once the blm pet is down focus on Tres.
