Kingdom Cesti or Republic Knuckles

I'ma 18 MNK/WAR and i'm looking for a H2H that will last me till 30. I just bought Kingdom Cesti but I find the damge to be low when I had my first PT in VD after getting them. My total STR is +5 and with kabobs, it's +10. But i'm still hitting for 10+ points of dmg per hand. Is this normal, or should i switch to Republic Kunckles for more dmg. Please give me advice on this.

I, along with several others in my LS, went for the Strike Baghnakhs (sp?). The stats are: +5dmg, +42dly, +2dex. Even as an Elvaan, I don't find myself missing too much with them. Strike Baghakhs can be used at level 14 (? from memory), and by most other classes that have a somewhat-decent skill in h2h (including THF, which, if you level up, should be using these!).

If you find yourself missing with them too much, pick up some Tropical Punches (+1 dmg, +0dly, +10acc). Until level sixteen I found myself to be missing waay too much with the Strike Baghnakhs, so I swapped them for the Punches occasionally.

However, once I hit sixteen (16), I rarely missed. And that's with only +3acc (from Battle Gloves). So I went back to my Strike Baganakhs. Mind you, at level sixteen, I was killing gobs for 200xp/kill and rarely missed with the Strikes. Needless to say, I sold my Tropical Punches to help fund my Purple (? the level 17 one) Belt.

Oh, and on Fenrir, the Strike Baghnakhs are much cheaper in San D'Oria. 22k compared to 27k in Bastok. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes. Low delay and high damage for the required level, and even some +dex thrown in. Nothing compares.
