Monk Base Damage Formula

Anyone know the base damage formula for Monks? That is, an equation to find base damage for Hand-to-Hand at any given level. Just wondering how our base damage and weapons compare to others at comparable levels.

Also, if you happen to know the formulas for calculating base attack and base defense, that'd be good info, too.

H2H D value: (grapple skill) / 10 * 1.1 + 3 (round to one decimal)

I thought it was:

Skill / 9.1 * 0.9 + 3 and then drop the decimal, rather than round?

Either way, poor man's version is just to divide your skill by 10, add 3, and that's "close enough" for most people.

So wait... where does STR and ATT come into the picture with damage? And how come damage for a monk can go up to the 50s per fist on some mobs and 20s on others? And how does +damage on H2H weapons calculate into the equation...

Some many questions...

First you take establish base damage (H2H D value + Weapon D).

Then your base damage curve is created depending on your STR against the targets VIT.

Finally the actual damage is adjusted depending on your ATT against the targets Def.

Hope that made some sense.
