What's the best level for Bastok Mission 1-2 (Dangruf)?

When I was still solo'ing outside of Bastok, I took on the second mission in the 1st tier of the Bastok Missions and traveled to Dangruf Wadi... At the time I was level... 9 or 10 and realized that I was in over my head big time. I'm now level 14 (WHM) and was wondering if I'm at a high enough level to solo my way through til the end. Any suggestions?

You should be ok. My brother-in-law did it at 15 or so, no problem. I mean, you don't have to kill anything to complete it, so it just depends on how well you can avoid mobs really.

As long as you can avoid mob aggro, you can pretty much do it at any level.

In the area where you test your paper (its the geyser in J-8) stand close to it and check your key items to see if teh paper has turned red when it does, head back to bastok and talk to CId in teh metalworks to complete.

The mobs to watch i.e. only linking mobs is 2 goblins near the geyser on the lower level these will link but are max lvl 8 so to a lvl 10 will be a Decent challenge. So min 10 anything more will be no problem. If the geyser transports you to teh next level, jump back down the mobs up there are lvl 14+.

Oh yes to get mission 1-3 completed buy the fetish bits from the AH under beastmen items, it wills et you back up to 4k for all 4. but means you can get rank 2 and open up a few things.
