San d'oria 1 O.o really confused

apparently i am meant to go kill some orcs get their axe and return it to the gate guard... i've gotten the axe, i try and talk to the guard and he just says finish your current mission before starting a new one. i also cant trade in my adventurers coupon.. is there some technique that I'm missing? this just doesn't seem right.

Orchish Fodders drop the axe if I'm not mistaken. You'll find them outside of town. You'll start killing off all kinds of orcs out there after level 5.

And if you look at your town map, there should be a green marker placed on it to show where the NPC is. Its either in North or South Sandoria.

i have found the axe but still dont know who to give to. there is no green marker on the map except for the NPC that i am supposed to give my adventurer's coupon to... but i cant do that either. is there a function i am missing? like a trade with npc command or something? O.o

Menu - trade - put item in trade box - ok.

Might be what you are missing.

Wiki, it be'z your friend!

San d'Oria Mission

Be careful because the Wiki does often included the entire script from the mission, but it also tells you where to go and how to get what's needed of if there are other steps.

The NPC you could be talking about for your adventurer's coupon might be in Northern San d'Oria, close to the cathedral. She's talking to another female NPC. Her name starts with an M, I think. Can't remember. Trade it to her like you traded the axe to the gate guard.

Trading works the same for both NPC's and other players.

There's also an adventurer's coupon NPC in Port San d'Oria, near the airship dock on the left side of the path towards the Mog House.
