For Dirtyhanded Gochakzuk:
The fact remains that going into that room with only two people, of any job combination, is pretty much suicide. You could maybe get clever and have RDM/BLM + NIN/WAR. Have the RDM dash in, Elemental Seal, Chainspell and Sleepga, then Gravity on the NM, drag him outside where the NIN is waiting in the water below and have the NIN Provoke him while the RDM uses his Chainspell to Escape himself back to the entrance to Davoi while the NIN drags the NM all the way back to the entrance (at night for +25% running speed). You'll have a gigantic train, but zoning will despawn everything but the NM. At that point you've got 1 RDM + 1 NIN vs. 1 NM at the entrance, which is much better odds.

Doable, but very risky (and still prone to failure since Dirtyhanded Gochakzuk can't be Silenced and thus can just land -ga III's on you at will). I don't know of any other job combinations that have a better chance of doing this as a duo.

Hmm, I dunno, I haven't tried duo'ng it, but it sounds like fun.

The only thing about that particular NM is killing him before his -gas kill you.

RDM/WHM and NIN/WAR (BLU/NIN?) seems like a better combo to me if the RDM is good enough to sleep the weaker mobs inside fast enough (or chain sleep em), because that way you'd have a much easier time dealing with -gas.

Because he seems to waste too much time casting you don't have to worry much about melee damage, just focus on minimizing damage from his spells and/or cast the proper Barspell on long recast spells.

If you have a good sleeper there wont be many troubles with the mobs inside. But dealing enough damage to the NM is where the problem could be. I can think on many job combo duos that could deal such damage in that little amount of time, so it would be a matter of trying it out.

Unless you pull the mob near zone that is.

Summoner can solo Bastok 6-1 with ease. Just Carbuncle train it until it is dead. You're out of range of 1000 Needles so they won't hit you. This strategy can be done on many NMs including mission NMs if you have enough kiting room.
