Anyone cleared mission 8 yet? What do you have to do to complete it?

Best guess on what to do for me is that I need to complete each Asault at least once. Anyone know if you actually need to win or just entering the assault is good enough?

Completing each Assault in the first "tier" allows you to increase your Mercenary Rank with Naja to "Private First Class" and grants you access to another tier of Assaults.

No word yet on what happens when you beat the next tier. There is another rank and Assault tier available.

The majority believes that this is the last ToAU mission to be added until another patch comes along, bringing more, much like what happened to CoP.

I myself am not too sure, but best of luck on Assault.

There are so far three tiers to Assaults for each area, Second Class Private, First Class, and Superior Private are the ranks. If you complete all 5 Assaults and talk to Naja, she asks for an Imp Wing, and gives you a promotion upon completion, if you beat all 2nd tier Assaults, she asks for you to investigate the "Dark Rider" and find evidence that he's plaguing Aht Urgan. I'm stuck so far on this, I assume it means the 'Odin' like figure that we saw at the very end of one of the clips for TAU, just my personal speculation, but from my knowledge nobody has gotten past this, it may be just being kept secret right now, or this may be the end of TAU missions. If I recall when COP first came out, it had less content than TAU excluding new jobs and the like, doing 15 assaults is like 15 mini-missions, which is a lot more than COP gave us off the bat.

Anyways that's just my 2-gil on the subject, if I ever find out more I'll be sure to post, but I probably won't be the first one . By the way, the Assault battle music is a refreshing change to having same fight music in all new areas, seems TAU made a lot of people happy, guess SE did something right with this expansion, TAU music is my favorite ^^v.

Well, I know its only speculation, but I went through that awdeewah underground thing and came up to a big, open, empty area in the middle of uhm, wajaom woodlands. Normally I wouldnt just post speculation like this, but there are literally 0 mobs there and its a very big area. Since no HNM has popped there, I'm pretty sure it is used for some very important quest or mission.
